What is Pregnancy Massage and it's benefits?

Massage therapy during pregnancy is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care. It is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness.

This wonderful nurturing massage is designed to ease and soothe the body's needs during pregnancy, as it assists in alleviating pains and tension in areas such as the lower back, shoulders and legs.
This treatment increases blood flow which in turn provides more oxygen and nutrients to both mother and baby. In addition it reduces fluid retention, stabilises hormonal levels and soothes and relaxes the nervous system thereby promoting a feeling of calm and reducing stress.

The treatment is especially tailored for the expectant mother with the use of side lying position and lots of cushions to make you as comfortable as possible.
Treatment lengths are 30 minutes or 60 minutes to help ensure mum's comfort.

Please note that this treatment is safe after the first trimester of pregnancy. It is not offered during this time as it is the crucial time of your baby’s growth and development.

“I wasn’t sure what to expect from a pregnancy massage as hadn’t had one before but Adele made me feel relaxed and at ease and was accommodating to make me as comfortable as possible in side lying positions.
The massage was amazing from start to finish and really helped me relax. I particularly liked the leg and arm massage which I hadn’t had before. I would recommend to any expectant mums.”
